    Day 1: San José
Arrival at San José International Airport. Reception and transfer to your hotel.

    Day 2: San Jose
After breakfast, a visit to some of the highlights of San Jose, including the Jade Museum, one of Costa Rica’s most famous museums. It is home to the world’s largest American jade collection. A visit will also be made to the National Theatre, probably the most ornate of all the city’s public buildings. The theatre has marble staircases and gilded ceilings. A visit shall also be made to the Central Market, to hunt for souvenirs and sample some of Costa Rica’s delicacies. After lunch, a visit to the Gold Museum housing a great collection of pre-Columbian gold.

    Day 3: Tortuguero
Early trip through the Braulio Carrillo National Park. From Caño Blanco, we will take the boat that leads us through the main channel of Tortuguero, a National Park with numerous lagoons and canals. This is one of the most important nesting sites for the Green Sea Turtle, the Leatherback and the Hawksbill Turtle in the whole Caribbean.

    Day 4: Tortuguero
A full day trip where we first go by boat through the small channels of the National Park, observing the flora and fauna of this unique area. In the afternoon, we will explore the jungle trails around the Lodge and visit the open butterfly garden.

Day 5: Arenal Volcano, Tabacón Hot Springs
After breakfast, we return to the mainland for the journey to the Arenal Volcano.
Arenal's erupted in 1968 and  produced hot avalanches and ejected blocks that devastated the west flank of the volcano. It rises 1633m above sea level and there are several excellent look out points along the highway. In the evening at the hot springs of Tabacon, you will enjoy a bath in the sulfur water formed by the natural pools in this geologically active area. Chance of viewing some volcanic eruptions.

Day 6: Monteverde Cloud Forest Region
Today we will take a trip around Arenal Lake and then on the Interamericana highway. We will then head towards Santa. Elena in the Monteverde Cloud Forest Region. Accommodation.

Day 7: Monteverde Cloud Forest Region
The early morning allows us to observe birds, so we recommend an optional walk through the Monteverde or Santa. Elena Nature Reserve. At the entrance, you will already meet many different kinds of hummingbirds. In the afternoon, we will enjoy the complex of suspended bridges, platforms and trails, built within the tops of the trees, the canopy of the cloud forest.

Day 8: Manuel Antonio National Park & Beaches
After breakfast, we return to the town of Jacó, stopping at the bridge over Rio Tarcoles, where we will have an opportunity to observe large crocodiles. Arrival to Manuel Antonio and your hotel.

Day 9: Manuel Antonio National Park
Today we will visit the Manuel Antonio National Park where a hike of about 1.5 hours will lead us through the rainforest and to the fantastic beaches within the park. Here you can observe capuchin monkeys, sloths, iguanas, anteaters and various species of birds whilst exploring the hiking trails through the rainforest. Trip ends with relaxing on the beach on the Pacific Ocean.

    Day 10: San Jose
After breakfast, we return to San José  and enjoy a free day at leisure.

Day 11: San Jose - Islita
